There is some great news for those having a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy S Advance.
Apparently the two mid-range smartphones will be getting the official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update without being updated to  Ice Cream Sandwich before.

One of the  Bulgarian readers from GSM Arena contacted its local Samsung branch, asking if the two smartphones will be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The response was kinda suprising that the Galaxy Ace 2 and the Galaxy S Advance will be skipping  Ice Cream Sandwich and will be updated directly to the Jelly Bean.

This all can be not true as the Samsung Facebook Pages were wrong in the past. So for now I would take this with a pinch of salt!

It will probably take a few more months for the update to be ready, as you all know Samsung takes their time to update their phones.
So Samsung where is the word on the Galaxy S II ??????
