We exclusively confirmed about the Galaxy Gear announcement a couple of days and now Bloomberg is confirming the same. Their report basically echoes the same thing we said but their sources claim the Galaxy Gear expected this year won't feature a flexible display. This is an interesting claim because a patent filing by Samsung hinted at a wrist watch with flexible display.
While we're still trying to confirm this with our insiders, an anonymous tip given to us suggested a dual-core Exynos processor, 1GB RAM will power Samsung's smartwatch.
The announcement will take place on September 4 at the Mobile Unpacked 2 event where Samsung will also announce the Galaxy Note III.
