If you've used YouTube, you've probably run across the name and logo, and even videos, of Vevo. Now, the internet music video provider is aiming to bring its services to smart TVs, which has resulted in a deal that will see its music videos and other programming coming to Samsung's Smart TVs (and Apple's as well).
Vevo had earlier launched on Xbox 360, Roku and mobile devices in March 2013, but now the provider is looking to further move away from YouTube and make its way onto TV screens, and what better way to reach TV users than bringing its subscription service on smart TVs? The launch on Samsung's Smart TVs is expected to take place sometime this week, and it remains to be seen what “other programming” will be part of Vevo's offering.
