Looks like October might be the month when Samsung finally takes the wraps off Tizen and shows it off to the whole world in an official capacity – according to Tizen Indonesia, Samsung will be unveiling its upcoming OS at the Samsung Developers Conference, which is set to take place on October 26-27 in San Francisco, California, and will also be having several sessions to discuss about the OS with developers and the company's partners.
If Tizen does get announced at the developers conference, it will mean the previous rumor about Samsung launching the first Tizen smartphone in October in five countries might turn out right as well (though it will probably hit markets in November / December). Samsung's ambitions for its pet OS are quite high, and it looks like it won't be long before we see what it's all about.
