Samsung's knack for releasing new color variants of a device long after it has launched continues, and this time it's the Galaxy Mega 6.3 on the receiving end of the coloring treatment. A purple Mega 6.3 has gone live in Hong Kong on Samsung's official website, adding the not-so-subtle color to the existing options of black and white on the company's largest smartphone till date.
The color is the only thing that's changed here, so the device has still got a 6.3-inch 720p display, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 1.5 gigs of RAM, 8-megapixel rear shooter, 1.9-megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC connectivity, a large 3,200mAh battery, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Will we see the purple variant in other markets? Maybe, maybe not, we'll just have to wait and see if Samsung is kind enough to do that.
