Just a few days ago, Samsung released Galaxy Note 10.1's (2014 Edition) kernel sources and now have starting pushing the first official firmwares to the KIES servers. It's amazing how Samsung always releases the kernel source code and firmwares even before the launch of the device itself. The firmwares are being rolled out for both of the variants, Wi-Fi only (SM-P600) and W-Fi+3G (SM-P601).
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a gorgeous 10.1-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) Super Clear LCD with a pixel density of 299 PPI. The WiFi+3G variant is equipped with a Exynos 5420 Octa-Core CPU based on ARM’s big.LITTLE technology with Quad Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 1.9GHz and Quad Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.3GHz and 6-Core Mali-T628 GPU running at 600MHz. The LTE variant packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad-Core CPU with a clock speed of 2.3GHz and an Adreno 330 GPU running at 450MHz. Both of the variants come with 3GB of RAM. Powering all these components is a huge non-removable Li-Po 8,220mAh battery.
