Samsung’s Galaxy Gear is officially compatible with the Galaxy Note 3. Though Samsung is working diligently to expand support to other mobile devices, Samsung is also looking to expand the support to non-mobile devices like TV. Ryan Bidan, director of product marketing at Samsung confirmed that they’re looking how the smartwatch can be used with a TV.
Bidan is banking on developers to achieve some fruitful use of the watch and hopes we’ll see something at the Samsung Developers Conference that is set to happen later this month.
Some of the applications for the smartwatch-TV combo could be for notifications, a health monitor showing detailed information or even act as a control for smart apps that are downloaded on the TV.
