We know Samsung's latest flagship device – Galaxy Note 3 is doing good in the market and the number confirmed by JK Shin today resonates the fact. At a press briefing in Korea, JK Shin confirmed that they’ve managed to ship 5 million Galaxy Note 3s to sales channels, carriers etc. Samsung never confirms the actual consumer sales but this figure is also a good proof on the traction of the Galaxy Note 3.

Galaxy Note 3 builds on the success of previous two Galaxy Note devices, which took 5 months (Galaxy Note) and 2 months (Galaxy Note II) to reach the same 5 million shipment figure.

According to Shin, Galaxy Note 3 has seen a good market response compared to its predecessors that brings improved S Pen input along with the new Air Command feature.
