It looks like Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Tab 4.0 line soon, as @evleaks just leaked the press image of the 7-inch version of the Galaxy Tab 4.0. The 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 4 variant was spotted undergoing FCC certification two weeks ago, and earlier benchmarks revealed the specs that the tablets will feature. The 7-inch model comes with a 1280 x 800 screen, quad-core 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, micro-SD card slot that can accommodate a 64 GB SD card, 3 MP camera at the back and a 1.3 MP shooter at the front. The Android 4.4 KitKat toting tablet will feature a 4450 mAh battery.
While there is no official launch date for the device, it is likely that Samsung will announce the tablets soon. The 7-inch version will be available in Wi-Fi only as well as 3G variants. Along with the 7-inch version, there will be an 8-inch and 10.1-inch version in the Galaxy Tab 4 line. From the hardware details, it looks like there isn't a major change from the Galaxy Tab 3 series. But then again, if you want better hardware, there is always the Galaxy Tab Pro line.
Update: Evleaks has posted a picture of the white version of the Galaxy Tab 4.0 as well.
