    Exclusive: Samsung Galaxy Tab S and its flip covers pictured in all their glory

    Samsung is all set to introduce the Galaxy Tab S at its Galaxy Premiere 2014 event, which is going to be held at the Madison Square Garden in New York, in two days. Even though we have leaked the Galaxy Tab S numerous times, one thing which hasn't been leaked yet are the new Flip Covers, which make use of the proprietary connectors embedded in the back panel of the tablet. However, thanks to our insiders, we have received a few high-quality images of Samsung's upcoming Flip Covers, and the Galaxy Tab S as well.
    TabS-4Galaxy Tab S will be the world’s first ever device to feature a WQXGA (2560×1600) Super AMOLED display, and Samsung's first tablet device to feature a fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the Galaxy Tab S will pack an Octa-core Exynos 5 (5420) SoC with ARM’s big.LITTLE technology; four 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores, 6-core ARM Mali-T628 GPU with a clock speed of 533MHz, 3GB of 32-bit dual-channel 933 MHz LPDDR3e RAM, 8.0-Megapixel (3264×2448) camera sensor with 1080p Full HD video recording, and a 2.1-Megapixel (1920×1080) front facing camera.

    In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy Tab S will offer WiFi 802.11ac support on top of the usual a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 LE / ANT+, GPS, GLONASS and an IR blaster is included for controlling your TV using Samsung's WatchON service. MicroUSB 2.0 port for syncing and charging the device.

    On the software side, the device will come with Android 4.4.2 KitKat and Samsung's latest Magazine UX out of the box. Tab S will also include software features like Ultra Power Saving Mode, Remote PC, ability to take calls from a connected phone right on the tablet, Download Booster, and more, and will be available sometime in the end of June.
