Report: Galaxy Note 4 to launch right after IFA 2014, ready for mass production

The Galaxy Note 4 is back in the headlines once again, with a new report from the South Korean media suggesting that Samsung's next-generation phablet will enter the mass production stage as early as July. Samsung is reportedly planning to release the Note 4 soon after its official announcement at IFA (which runs between September 5 – 10) – the Galaxy Note 3 came out at the end of September, and the report indicates that the Galaxy Note 4 will launch even earlier. If true, the early launch might be a move Samsung is making in order to get the jump on Apple's upcoming iPhone 6, which is expected to disrupt the smartphone market with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch variants.

Early September launch or not, the Galaxy Note 4 will surely be one of the best smartphones to come out of Samsung's stable. The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to sport a QHD (2560×1440) 5.7-inch display, supposedly in both curved and flat form factors, an Exynos 5433/Snapdragon 805 processor (with record-breaking performance, if leaked benchmarks are to be believed), 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel with a Sony IMX240 sensor and optical image stabilization, a UV sensor, and Android 4.4.3 KitKat.
