The Galaxy Note Edge is an important device, perhaps more so than the Galaxy Note 4. It's a sign that we are finally approaching a time when curved displays can become more commonplace than before, even if the Galaxy Note Edge itself will be a concept device. What makes the Galaxy Note Edge so special is what Samsung is calling the Edge Screen, a curved display on the side of the phone for displaying additional content, and today, Samsung has released an infographic to talk about the features of the Edge Screen.

As we've already known, the Edge screen can be used to quickly launch apps, view notifications without moving away from the content on the main 5.7-inch Quad HD display, and even for doodling with the S Pen. It can also be used by apps to display special information (for example, a stopwatch can show the timer and a button to let you start and stop the counter), though it will be up to developers to take advantage of that.

Take a look at the infographic below, and do read our hands-on experience with the device.
