Right before the Diwali festive season, Samsung has officially reduced the price of the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy S5 LTE in India. The Galaxy S5 is now available for INR 37,500 while its LTE variant is available for INR 40,300 from the Samsung India eStore. These devices were originally launched with a price tag of INR 51,500 and INR 53,500 respectively but they were being sold for much lower prices on various online stores in India, though Samsung had denied slashing their prices officially. The Galaxy Note 4 was launched in the country recently for INR 58,300 and is running low on stocks, but is being sold at a lower price by most retailers, a trend that has become commonplace with Samsung's flagships in the country.
