Firmware for the Galaxy A5 went online earlier this month, ahead of its launch in Asian markets. Now, interested folks can grab the first firmware for the Galaxy A3, the smaller of Samsung's two new metal-clad smartphones, from our firmware section. The firmware is for the Chinese variant of the phone, which isn't surprising given China will be one of the first markets where the A3 will go up for sale, and is based on Android 4.4.4. Firmware for other regions will no doubt crop up in the coming weeks, and can be used for returning to the stock software on the device and for extracting things like wallpapers, ringtones, and more (these will likely be similar to the ones available on the A5.)

Download the firmware from this link.
