Samsung has been working swiftly to put Android 5.0 Lollipop on its flagship devices, and it looks like carriers in the US are also working hand-in-hand with the Korean manufacturer to test Lollipop on their devices. We've already given our readers glimpses of Android 5.0 running on the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5, and the Galaxy Note 3, and now a Lollipop firmware for Sprint's variant of the Galaxy S5 has leaked out on the XDA developers community. Naturally, it's an early test build and not the final version, but apparently things like calls, SMS and other basic functions work properly.
The firmware comes with build number PVPU1BNKD, and as usual, only those not worried about losing warranty and comfortable with manual firmware flashing should attempt to install the leaked build. Also of note here is that the flashable firmware package will wipe all data from your Galaxy S5, something the leaker of the build has deliberately done, so make sure you backup all your important files before proceeding to the source link.
