The Galaxy A7 wasn't announced alongside the Galaxy A3 and A5, but the device's recent trip through the FCC suggested that Samsung is gearing up to announce it in the very near future. Now, the Galaxy A7 has received the blessing of another certification authority – the phone has passed through TENAA in China, with pictures in tow and a few hardware details. According to TENAA, the A7 has dimensions of 150.9 x 75.9 x 6.3 mm, making it considerably thinner than the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy Alpha, both of which are currently the thinnest Samsung smartphones on the market.

The TENAA listing also mentions the screen size as 5.5-inches – the resolution is listed as 1080p, but as we've exclusively revealed before, the non-Chinese variant could possibly come with a 720p display of the same size. Other specs of the device are expected to include a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, 12-megapixel rear camera, 16GB of expandable internal storage, dual SIM slots, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. As seen in the picture below, the Galaxy A7 looks similar to its other A series siblings, and comes with 4G LTE support.
