Google today released their ‘Year in Search', aka an account of what and how much was searched through the year. Although Samsung does make a lot of money on other avenues, the smartphone market is probably it's biggest bet, at least as far as popularity is concerned. And it's clearly not doing too bad, because Samsung makes the device which holds the #2 spot in the list of the most ‘Googled' (yeah it's a verb, deal with it) smartphones — the Galaxy S5. Other devices that feature on the list include the Google Nexus 6, the Motorola Moto G, and Samsung's Galaxy Note 4, in that order.
What's also not surprising is that Apple leads the list with the iPhone 6, which happens to be the most popular smartphone on the planet, at least according to Google's account. Of course, ‘#bendgate' as it is called, helped Apple get to #1. And Samsung certainly wouldn't mind that, we feel!
