Samsung took the wraps off the Galaxy S5 at Mobile World Congress last year, choosing to hold its Unpacked event a day before the world's biggest mobile exhibition took off. The Korean manufacturer did the same with the original Galaxy S and its sequel, and it seems the Galaxy S6 will also be announced at MWC, according to a report by The Chosunilbo. Samsung will no doubt make the announcement as glitzy as it always does, and it looks like the company could make it a habit to unveil all its Galaxy S flagships at MWC instead of changing venues now and then.
The Galaxy S6 is set to be one of the most amazing smartphones Samsung has ever made. The phone will come in both a standard variant and one with dual-edge displays, and will feature specs like a Quad HD display, Exynos 7420 processor, 3GB of RAM (possibly 4GB on the Edge model), a 16/20-megapixel rear camera, and a touch-based fingerprint sensor. The S6 will run on software that Samsung is redesigning from scratch, with an optimization level that matches stock Android on Nexus devices, and should also feature a premium all-metal/metal and glass construction.
