Galaxy Tab S 10.5 gets Android 5.0.2 in France

The Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update is being rolled out today by Samsung for the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Wi-Fi (SM-T800) in France. Just last month we provided our readers with an exclusive look at Android 5.0.2 for the Galaxy Tab S. Samsung will release it over-the-air which means that users should receive an automatic notification on their device when the update is available for them to download. The firmware T800XXU1BOCC brings all of the important safety and security related fixes that Google made in Android 5.0.2. It carries a build date of March 17, 2015.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 owners in France can check for the update by heading to Menu >> Settings >> About device >> Software update >> Update on their device. The update can also be installed through KIES. Android 5.0.2 for the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Wi-Fi is available for download through our firmware section.
