It looks like carriers in the United States are on a bit of a rebellious streak as far as Samsung's official release date for the Galaxy S6 is concerned. T-Mobile was one of the first carriers to ship Galaxy S6 edge units to customers who placed a pre-order on March 27. Sprint has formally confirmed that it will start shipping units from tomorrow so that just leaves two other major carriers. Now there's word that even AT&T isn't sticking to Samsung's official April 10 release for the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge.
A reddit thread brings reports from multiple AT&T customers who confirmed that they've received a notification from the carrier about their units being shipped. They'll get their units up to three days before the April 10 release date set by Samsung. Only Verizon remains and it appears that the country's largest mobile network is going to stick with the official release date. Big Red was also the only carrier that didn't take pre-orders on March 27 instead it made customers wait until April 1. Samsung will release both new smartphones in 20 countries across the globe on April 10.
