About two months ago, we reported that Samsung's next-generation high-end tablet, the Galaxy Tab S2, will be thinner than the Apple iPad Air. A lot of changes can happen when the devices are under development, and it looks like Samsung has made some changes to the frame of its upcoming high-end tablet.
According to a tweet from @OnLeaks, the Galaxy Tab S2's dimensions will be around 237.17 x 169.58 x 5.5 mm, which is quite similar to what we reported earlier (237.1×168.8×5.4,). These dimensions are for the variant with a 9.7-inch display, and it is possible that Samsung may have made some changes to the metal frame of the device. Also, the tablet's design is inspired by the Galaxy S6, but we are not sure if it will feature a glass back.
Based on the information that we have till now, the Galaxy Tab S2 will come in two screen variants – 8.0-inch and 9.7-inch – with a squarish aspect ratio of 4:3, just like the recently released Galaxy Tab A. It will most probably feature metal build, 64-bit Exynos 7 series processor, and Android 5.0 Lollipop. We will keep you updated on the matter as and when we get more information about this device.
