We reported earlier this month when the Lollipop update for the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 entered testing, T-Mobile didn't say back then when it would start rolling out said update for the Galaxy Note 4. Now though we have official word from the carrier about when users can expect this update to arrive. T-Mobile has certainly taken its sweet time in bringing this update to the Galaxy Note 4, considering the fact that rival carriers AT&T and Sprint have already released this update to their subscribers.
Senior product manager at T-Mobile Des Smith revealed via Twitter that the carrier has received technical approval for the Galaxy Note 4's Android 5.0 update, and that the OTA rollout should begin next week. T-Mobile subscribers only have to wait for a couple of days now before they too can get a taste of Lollipop on their device.
This just in!!! Technical Acceptance on #Note4 Lollipop software update achieved! Should start to rollout next week! Woot woot!
