Galaxy S6 and S6 edge themes have been downloaded more than 6 million times

Themes support was one of the biggest features introduced on the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, and it seems to have become very popular with users around the world. Samsung has announced that themes for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge have been downloaded more than 6 million times, with the Avengers: Iron Man theme the most popular in the company's home country.

Chinese users have taken a liking to the Urban theme, which is a favorite for quite a few of us here at SamMobile as well. The BMW i8 theme has been downloaded a lot over in the U.S., and Korean users have also been enamored by the themes in the Bright pastel color category. Indian users seem to have a different mindset, with Samsung saying that users in the country prefer to use clean and simplistic themes that don't have too many design elements that can sometimes detract from the experience rather than improve it.

It comes as no surprise that Galaxy S6 and S6 users have received the themes feature well, something we have also noticed with our weekly Themes Thursday section. Quite a few themes right now are too over the top for regular usage, but with Samsung to start publishing themes from third-party theme makers in the near future, the themes collection should become considerably better as time goes by.
