Here's yet another indication that Samsung's next flagship is going to be launched ahead of schedule, in case you weren't aware when we exclusively confirmed that Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy Note 5 in August instead of September. The new handset is going to be accompanied by the Galaxy S6 edge Plus and both of them have been spotted in the FCC database which means they're one step closer to being launched.
Galaxy Note 5 (SM-920V) for Verizon and (SM-N920A) have both been certified by the FCC for Verizon and AT&T respectively, the handsets have support for the relevant LTE bands on each carrier. Same goes for the (SM-G928V) and (SM-G928A) which is the Galaxy S6 edge Plus for Verizon and AT&T also with support for the relevant LTE bands. It may not be long till the models destined for T-Mobile and Sprint also make an appearance at the FCC. Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge Plus on August 12 with shipments starting August 21.
