Consumers have often complained about Android updates, and Samsung is no exception. Android updates often arrive for Samsung devices weeks after Nexus devices get them, and, despite the fact that Google’s updates have earned a reputation for being “buggy,” to say the least, consumers still seem to want updates early (even if updates may be better when released later rather than sooner).
Samsung is showing its prowess with Tizen, its homegrown OS, to release updates as quickly as possible to squash software bugs while optimizing the experience. India customers are fortunate today to have another update, with build number Z130HDDU0BOH1, available for download. This update is only for India customers.
The Z1 update is tiny (67MB), but it does bring along an update for Facebook. Overall, the Tizen update should keep the Z1 running smoothly, and we are excited to see what Samsung’s future major Tizen update will bring. If you’ve received the Z1 update, India customers, feel free to chime in.
