Samsung US has just began rolling out the beta program for its new mobile payment system, Samsung Pay. The news comes after we reported that the payment system nabbed over 80,000 credit and check cards in its first week alone.

In order to qualify for the for the enrolment in the Samsung Pay beta program, you will need one of the following compatible devices; the Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S6 edge, the Galaxy Note 5 or the Galaxy S6 edge+. You also need to have an active Samsung account and a qualifying card from Bank of America, MasterCard, and Visa or U.S. Bank Visa. It's also worth noting that Verizon Wireless isn't supported by Samsung Pay right now, but most other major carriers like T-Mobile and AT&T are.

It's going to be interesting to watch the development of the Samsung Pay beta program. The payment service had a huge success in South Korea since its initial launch, and it's likely going to bloom once it arrives in the US officially on the 28th of September. In the meantime, we'll be closely watching the beta program so make sure to let us know if you signed up for it.
