We did see this coming as we reported exclusively on the Galaxy Note 5 firmware for India. It wouldn't have made sense for the company to work on the firmware if it had no intentions of launching the device in this market. The Galaxy Note 5‘s pricing and availability related details aren't available at this point of time, but we will keep you posted once the company reveals those details next week during its launch event.
The Galaxy Note 5 features a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 2560×1440 pixel resolution, underneath the display there's an Exynos 7420 processor with 4GB RAM, a 16-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera as well as 32GB/64GB storage options. You can find out more about the device's design and performance by going through our hands-on preview of the Galaxy Note 5.
Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S6 edge+ in the country with a price tag of INR 57,900 and the company's latest premium tablet, the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, is available in India starting today.
