[Updated] Galaxy Note 5 updating to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in South Korea

Last updated: February 24th, 2016 at 12:30 UTC+01:00

It started with Cambodia, and Android 6.0 has now reached the Galaxy Note 5 in Samsung's home country. The Galaxy S6 edge+ also received Marshmallow in South Korea today, and it's likely the two devices are being updated at the same time, which we have seen happen with all the minor software updates that have hit the devices since their launch.

Carrier LG Uplus is the first to roll out the update, and other carriers in the country should soon be joining the party. As for other regions, it would be great to see the rollout expand to many other markets within the week, though as always there's no telling how long it will take for every device out there to be updated. You probably already know what you can expect from Marshmallow, and we have a few pictures of the latest version of Android running on the Galaxy Note 5 and also the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.

Update: SK Telecom has started rolling out the update as well.
