Samsung has just announced the Notebook 7 Spin, a foldable Windows 10 convertible laptop. It can be folded to be used as a giant tablet, and it comes in two screen size variants: one with a 13.3-inch 1080p touchscreen display and the other with a larger 15.6-inch 1080p touchscreen display.
The 13.3-inch variant of the Notebook 7 Spin is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor, while the 15.6-inch variant is equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor and an Nvidia 940MX GPU. Both laptops feature a USB Type-C port, three USB Type-A ports (two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0), while the larger convertible also comes with an Ethernet port. Samsung claims that its Video HDR display mode makes “the content sharper, colors more vivid and textures truly pop.”
The 13.3-inch variant of Samsung's convertible laptop comes with 8GB of RAM, while the 15.6-inch variant comes with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM. The highest-end variant of the Notebook 7 Spin comes with 128GB SSD and a 1TB mechanical storage drive. These laptops also come with fast-charging technology, so users can expect two hours of usage with just 20 minutes of charging.
The Notebook 7 Spin will be available from Best Buy and Samsung.com in the US from 26 June, starting at $799.
