Samsung has made quite a few announcements today the most notable being that of the Galaxy Note 7. It has also finally confirmed today when the Gear 360 VR camera is going to get a proper release. Customers in the United States who have been waiting to purchase the Gear IconX activity tracking wireless earbuds take note: Samsung today confirmed when it's going to release the earbuds in the US.
The company has confirmed that its wireless Gear IconX activity tracking earbuds will go on sale in the United States starting August 15th for the previously announced price of $199. The earbuds are accompanied by a wireless charging case. This wearable device features an in-ear heart rate monitor, has 4GB of internal storage and can host up to 1,000 MP3 songs as it's also a standalone music player. Gear IconX will provide users with instant tracking and feedback for fitness data which includes heart rates, calories burned, duration, speed, distance and more. All of the data is synced with Samsung's S Health app. The Gear IconX is compatible with any Android smartphone that has more than 1.5GB RAM and is running Android version 4.1 or higher.
