Being the Worldwide Olympic Partner in the Wireless Communications Equipment, Samsung is pumping in a lot of resources to making its presence felt at the games this year. The company recently introduced the Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Games Limited Edition smartphone which features several cosmetic customizations to commemorate the Olympics and has also launched a Rio 2016 app that enables users on multiple platforms to track the performance of their favorite teams and Olympians.

That's not all though. In collaboration with the International Olympic Committee, Samsung has presented the Olympic Games Limited Edition Galaxy S7 edge to every one of the 12,500 athletes competing in Rio 2016. It says that these smartphones are meant to help the Olympians enhance their experiences in Rio and conveniently keep in touch with friends and family across the globe. I'm pretty sure the Olympians will be stoked about getting a limited edition of the best Android smartphone this year for free. You can still buy this handset if you're not an Olympian but it's only being released in limited quantities and that too in select markets.
