Samsung has today started distributing the November security patch for the factory unlocked model of the Galaxy A3 (2016) in Europe. Just like the build that started rolling out for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge in the Netherlands last week, the upgrade brings a total of 14 specific bug fixes for the company's mobile devices, in addition to dozens of patches for Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) in the Android OS.
Like usual, the update — firmware version XXU2BPK2 — is being pushed out in stages, so don’t be alarmed if you haven’t received a notification prompting you to install the upgrade just yet. If you own a Galaxy A3 (2016) and would like to see if the upgrade is ready for your handset, simply head into Settings » About Device » Software Update » Update Now.
