First Galaxy A5 (2017) firmware and wallpapers now available online

Samsung's been working on refreshed variants of the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 for quite a while now. All three handsets have been granted approval to launch on the open market by the FCC, and most recently a reliable tipster revealed that the South Korean company is preparing to launch the Galaxy A3 (2017) and Galaxy A5 (2017) in the Western European Union in mid-January.

It's now looking that the time frame provided is actually correct as the first firmware for the Galaxy A5 (2017) is now available to download from our database, which is usually a good indication that a handset is just about to hit the shelves. Bundled in the firmware are eight default system wallpapers that are expected to ship on board the entire 2017 lineup of A series devices. We've included them below:
