Samsung is one of the founding members of the Tizen OS.
Samsung showed a developer device produced by Samsung at the TIZEN conference.
Tizen was announced in September last year and supports web standards like HTML5 and WAC.
This dev device comes with a ARM 1.2 dual-core processor.
The phone use a 720p HD display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, MicroSD and other basic points.
As you can say the icons are similar as in Touch-Wiz interface of Samsung.
Because this is the first prototype we can expect later this year the first TIZEN phones by Samsung.
At the moment there are still no words about bada 3.0, or a merge between them.
