Samsung is going to introduce the Galaxy Star quite soon. Thisnwe can confirm through new information we recieved today. The Galaxy Star GT-S5282 is a low-end Galaxy device and will come in the color Scarlet Black. When Look at the specifications of the Galaxy Star we can conclude that this device could be Samsung's new Galaxy Y, only the Galaxy Star is based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The Samsung Galaxy Star uses a 3.0” display with QVGA resolution, 2 megapixel camera, 4 GB intern, micro SD slot up to 32 GB, Micro USB, Wi-Fi- A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and a battery with 1200 MAh.
The device is expected to hit the stores in week 15.
We expect Samsung to showcase this new low-range Android device at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. SamMobile will be there and we will make some short hands-on.
