Samsung Galaxy S4: Pricing and availability in U.S. and Canada

Network providers in Canada and America have just announced Galaxy S4's pricing and availability. First of all, America and Canada will receive the Qualcomm variant of the Galaxy S4 instead of the Exynos 5 Octa variant, don't be sad as most of the Europe is also getting the Qualcomm variant.

In U.S, six major carriers which include AT&T, T-Mobile, U.S Cellular, Verizon Wireless, Sprint and Cricket Wireless have confirmed that the Galaxy S4 will be coming on their network. Though, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and Cricket Wireless have not yet announced any pricing and are also not taking any pre-orders.

On AT&T, the Galaxy S4 is priced at $200 with a 2-year contract and that's for the 16GB version of the device. The Galaxy S4 is available for pre-order and will be shipped to you on 30th of April, if pre-ordered now. The device itself will go on sale on the 3rd of May.

U.S. Cellular has just started taking pre-orders and has also priced the Galaxy S4 at $200 with a 2-year contract. U.S. Cellular is also giving a free S View Flip Cover with each pre-order. Galaxy S4's T-Mobile variant will go into retail on May 1. Verizon will make the device available on May 30, according to a leaked Staples' document.

If you don't want to get the Galaxy S4 with a contract, you can get the Galaxy S4 (16GB) SIM-free for $640. The 32GB variant of the device will be available later this year as well.

In Canada, the Galaxy S4 is being launched on Rogers and TELUS for CA$200 with a 3-year contract and CA$700 SIM-free. Pre-orders are expected to ship on April 26 and the device itself will go on sale on May 3.
