Samsung has just made Galaxy NX's kernel source code available on its Open Source Release Center, even though the device has not yet gone on sale. Samsung has always complied with the GPL, it has an amazing record of releasing kernel source code of new devices on time, even before making the device itself available to the public.

Now as soon as developers get their hands on the new Galaxy NX, they can immediately start hacking the kernel source and develop custom kernels for the smart camera.
