We reported last night about Samsung bringing its high-end ultrabook to America this month and now Samsung has confirmed the availability for the American market. The ATIV Book 9 Plus will be on pre-sale from August 18 for $1,399.99 and the stylish looking notebook brings a 13.3-inch touchscreen display supporting a QHD+ resolution (3200×1800 pixels) and features Gorilla Glass for extra durability and supports brightness of up to 350 nits. Powering the notebook is modest Intel Core i5 4200U 1.6GHz processor, 4GB RAM, Intel Graphics, battery life of up to 7.5 hours, SideSync and 128GB SSD promising a fast boot up of up to 5.9 seconds and wake time of under a second.
The ATIV Tab 3 on the other hand is a tablet that offers full Windows 8 OS with Office preloaded on the device. The device is just 0.31-inches thick, making it one of the world's slimmest Windows 8 PCs and bundles a Bluetooth keyboard that also functions as a cover and a kickstand. As far as hardware goes, the ATIV Tab 3 is powered by Intel's Atom processor, 2GB RAM, 64GB SSD, 10.1-inch 1366×768 touchscreen display and 7 hours battery life. The ATIV Tab 3 will go on sale from September 1 for $699.99.
