Sprint's first high-end Windows Phone 8 device, the ATIV S Neo, was unveiled by the carrier back in June, but the complete spec list wasn't revealed. That has changed now, as Samsung has officially listed the ATIV S Neo on its website, along with a complete list of specs. There are a couple of changes compared to the ATIV S, most important of which is the LCD screen that replaces the Super AMOLED screen on the international ATIV S, which might disappoint a few folks.
The processor is also clocked a bit lower at 1.4GHz but retains the number of cores (not that the number of cores could be changed, considering Windows Phone 8 only supports dual-core processors at this point). Other specs remain the same as the ATIV S, including a 4.8-inch 720p display, 16GB of built-in storage, microSD slot (up to 64GB), 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front-facing camera, and a 2,000mAh battery.
The release date has also been confirmed – the ATIV S Neo should be available for order starting this Friday, so if you've been gearing up to buy Samsung's only high-end offering from Sprint, your chance will be here soon enough.
