Japanese carriers haven't come out with an official word on the Galaxy Note 3 yet, but certification visits of the device for both NTT DoCoMo and KDDI suggest the two carriers will be announcing it at some point. The KDDI variant, model number SCL22, recently received Bluetooth certification, while the DoCoMo variant – model SC-01F – visited the FCC, where its communication radios will be approved for use in the U.S.

Since no official announcements have been made yet, it remains to be seen if Japan is one of the 149 countries that will see a launch on September 25th, but even if it isn't, the Note 3 should be available in stores sometime in mid-October. We'll update this post with pricing and availability details once we get our hands on them.
