Samsung's latest flagship Galaxy Note 3 and its companion accessory Galaxy Gear have been officially released. The devices were announced earlier this month and could be termed as the most ambitious launch for Samsung by making it available in many countries on day one. Samsung is selling both Exynos 5 Octa and Snapdragon 800 variants that are more or less the same but the Snapdragon 800 variant sports a quad-core processor and even has the capability to record 4K video. The device sells for around $800 and will roll out in remaining countries in October.
The Galaxy Gear smartwatch is currently compatible with Galaxy Note 3 alone but Samsung has promised to release a software update for other devices to support the new smartwatch. The watch works over Bluetooth and supports apps that are downloadable from Samsung Apps and supports calling feature, Smart Relay, click pictures from its 2MP camera and lots more.
The Galaxy Gear is priced for an equivalent of $299.
