Samsung showed off a new game pad at the IFA in September, as a followup to the Galaxy S4 Game Pad that was launched earlier this year, and now the second-generation game pad is one step closer to launch as it has passed Bluetooth certification. Carrying the model number El-GP20), it will likely be sold as an accessory for the Galaxy Note 3, though there's no telling when it will go on sale, and at what price.
In terms of design, Samsung has made a few changes, including adding a “Game” button that will launch a games portal on the device and allow you to switch between games by pausing the game you're currently playing. It also looks a lot better, thanks to a black color scheme that makes it look more appealing than the toy-like accessory we saw with the Galaxy S4.
