As expected, the Galaxy Note 3 has been launched in Japan. Carriers NTT DoCoMo and KDDI will be offering the device, and both carriers will also be selling the Galaxy Gear from today itself. For those wondering, the Japanese variant is powered by the quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, though other specs remain the same, including the 5.7-inch 1080p display, 3GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
The Galaxy Note 3 is priced at ¥ 90,000 at NTT DoCoMo, while the Galaxy Gear will cost ¥ 36,000. KDDI's Note 3 is apparently priced at only ¥ 70,000, and we wonder why there's such a price difference, though the Gear is priced the same at both carriers.
