We got a hint about its impending arrival and though there’s no pink coloured Galaxy S4 mini in sight (yet!), Samsung just announced the Galaxy S4 mini for the United States. The phone is expected in November on major carriers like Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and U.S. Cellular and will bring the goodness of Galaxy S4 in a compact package.

The Galaxy S4 mini resembles the premium Galaxy S4 but is packed with lower spec'd hardware like a 4.3-inch qHD display, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8MP camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, 16GB internal memory, NFC, infrared port, microSD card slot and 1900mAh battery.

Despite the slower hardware, Samsung has tried to integrate many Galaxy S4 features like the Samsung WatchON, Adapt Sound and Display, S Translator, Story Album, S Travel, camera features like Sound & Shot, Group Play. Samsung will soon roll out a new software update after the launch to support the Galaxy Gear smartwatch.
