Taking part in the Olympics is a dream that every athlete can call his own, giving them a chance to prove their skill and represent their country. But for bobsleigh sportsmen in Jamaica , the chance to make their presence felt at the biggest sporting competition in the world has eluded them for more than 20 years, with their last participation in the Olympics way back in 1988. However, thanks to Samsung, that finally changed in 2014, as the Jamaican bobsleigh team once again returned to show off what they've got, at the Sochi Winter Olympics going on in Russia.
To pay tribute to what the Jamaican athletes had to go through to make it back to the Olympics, Samsung has kicked off a documentary named ‘Keep on Pushing' with a series of videos, showing filmmakers J.K. and Sid's quest to help the Jamaican bobsleigh team back on the road to Olympic glory. The quest begins with the tracking down of the 1988 Calgary Jamaica bobsleigh team; the documentary stars actual members of the 1988 and 2014 bobsleigh teams, with Samsung sponsoring their long-awaited chance to represent their country in the Olympic games.
