RadioShack has mentioned that it will commence pre-orders for the Galaxy S5 from March 21. RadioShack will likely stock all major carrier versions of the Galaxy S5. Customers who pre-order the device from a RadioShack retail store will be eligible to receive a $50 discount. In addition, customers can save anywhere from $75 to $300 off the cost of the Galaxy S5 by trading in their existing handsets through the Trade & Save program. The retailer has announced that along with the Galaxy S5, it will stock Samsung’s new line of wearable devices that include the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit.
Pre-ordered devices will be available on April 11, which is when the Galaxy S5 will launch globally. Considering the amount of interest in the device, it is prudent to pre-order the Galaxy S5 as initial stocks will undoubtedly not be sufficient to meet demand.
