Samsung's new Windows Phone 8.0-based handset, the ATIV SE, has been cropping up in leaks increasingly as of late, and now we finally have a rumored launch date for the device. According to WPCentral, the ATIV SE will be arriving on Verizon on April 18th, with a price tag of $599 attached to it for those buying it outright. The on-contract price isn't known, but a $199 price tag is suggested, which does indicate that the phone will have high-end specs.
Those specs, however, are currently a mystery for the most part. All we know is that the device will have a 5-inch 1080p display, and a quad-core Snapdragon processor. Unconfirmed specs include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 13-megapixel camera – also unknown is whether the device will run on Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box, or if it will get an update soon after launch (Microsoft will announce WP 8.1 in the first week of April, so it's possible the ATIV SE will be one of the first 8.1 devices.)
