We exclusively confirmed earlier this year that Samsung is working on the Galaxy S5 zoom and Galaxy S5 mini, and at least the Galaxy S5 zoom has shown its face in a couple of leaks since then. Now we have even more confirmation that the two devices exist and could be announced very soon, thanks to case maker Noreve. Noreve has put up pages for leather cases for both devices on its website with the availability status given as “online very soon”, so it shouldn't be long before Samsung decides to make them official, though it might not be until May that the devices actually make it to market.
The Galaxy S5 zoom is expected to sport a 20-megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom, Xenon flash and optical image stabilization, a quad-core/octa-core processor, 1.5-2GB of RAM, 4.8-inch display of 720p resolution, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat, with a slimmer design than the Galaxy S4 zoom. Details on the Galaxy S5 mini are scarce at the moment – it's possible it will be a smaller yet high-end variant of the Galaxy S5, with specs including a Snapdragon 800 chipset, Super AMOLED display, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat, though nothing is confirmed at this point.
