Last week, it was discovered that Samsung has trademarked the Gear Solo and the Gear Now names in the US. The Gear Solo will be a version of the Gear 2 smartwatch that comes with a SIM card slot. There is no indication as to what the Gear Now will be, although from its name, it is likely going to be a wearable device. In addition to these names, Samsung has trademarked the Galaxy V: (the colon seems to be included in the name of the device), Galaxy Adore and Galaxy S Fitness names in the US this week. Samsung usually does not wait long from filing a trademark to launching a device, as evidenced from the Galaxy Gear filing last year. The trademark was filed in the month of August and the smartwatch was unveiled a month later at the IFA. Therefore, it is likely that the manufacturer will unveil these new products sometime during the summer.
The Galaxy S Fitness will likely be another wearable device. The Galaxy V: and Galaxy Adore might be new lines of smartphones. It looks like Samsung is going to differentiate its offerings away from the S series. For instance, the upcoming successor to the Galaxy S4 Zoom will be called the Galaxy K.
