Verizon’s version of the Galaxy S5 Neo might feature an LCD display

Indian import export site Zauba is a veritable treasure trove of information when it comes to leaking unannounced Samsung handsets. The site listed 35 LCD display units for a device with a model number SM-G7508V, which could turn out to be Verizon’s variant of the Galaxy S5 Neo. Earlier this week, the same website listed a device with a model number SM-G750 entering Indian shores. We first got wind of the SM-G750 last month in a user agent profile, which featured a 720p screen and a 2.3 GHz processor, which could mean that this is a watered-down variant of the Galaxy S5, possibly the Galaxy S5 Neo. It is not likely to be the Galaxy S5 mini as that device is said to feature different hardware.

What is interesting about the Zauba listing is that it looks like Samsung is deciding to go with an LCD panel on the Galaxy S5 Neo. The manufacturer is known for using Super AMOLED displays in its high-end devices, so it is unusual that the Galaxy S5 Neo might feature an LCD screen. As for when Samsung would launch this device, your guess is as good as ours. We will inform you if we hear more about the SM-G750.
